Welcome to the Falmouth Allotment Society, a community-driven initiative dedicated to cultivating fresh produce, fostering sustainability, and bringing people together. Run entirely by volunteers, our society provides local residents with the opportunity to grow their own fruits, vegetables, and flowers while promoting environmental stewardship.
At the heart of the Falmouth Allotment Society is our commitment to supporting the local community. Through workshops, events, and partnerships with schools and charities, we aim to inspire a love for growing and a sense of togetherness. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a complete beginner, there’s a place for you here.
We also host regular volunteering opportunities to help care for the common areas of the allotments. These sessions are a great way to meet other members, learn new skills, and contribute to the upkeep of this shared community space. Everyone is welcome to join, whether you can spare an hour or a whole day!
Additionally, we hold Saturday coffee mornings, where members and visitors can enjoy a warm drink and a friendly chat. These gatherings help us raise money to keep the society running, funding essential maintenance and improvements. Your support at these events makes a huge difference and keeps our community thriving.
We are proud to be entirely volunteer-led, with every effort going towards maintaining and improving our allotments for current and future generations. If you’d like to get involved, either by tending your own plot or volunteering your time and skills, we would love to hear from you.
